About Us
Our clinic is owned and operated by Mrs. Tamika Bearden-Young, APRN, FNP-C. Tamika is a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has over 20 years of Nursing and Leadership experience combined. She graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree from Prairie View A&M University and earned her Master's degree from Walden University.
Tamika’s dream had always been to open a clinic that catered to the needs of patients who can't afford health insurance. Affordable healthcare is what Foundation Healthcare is about!

After years working in Critical Care and Nursing management, which included managing the patient care flow for a hospital, Tamika had seen it all. She was ready to expand her skills in healthcare. Finishing Nurse Practitioner school in 2014 was the last piece of the puzzle and the foundation to completing her dream of owning and operating a community healthcare clinic.
